Role Overview:

We are seeking a motivated and goal-oriented Business Development Intern who is eager to learn and grow in the field of business development and client relations. This role offers hands-on experience in lead generation, client communication, market research, and sales strategies. The ideal candidate will be a quick learner with excellent communication skills and a passion for building relationships.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Identify and research potential clients and business opportunities through various channels (LinkedIn, social media, databases, etc.)
  • Assist in generating leads and building a robust sales pipeline
  • Conduct market research to identify industry trends, competitors, and potential markets
  • Support the BD team in creating presentations, proposals, and sales materials
  • Reach out to prospects via email, phone calls, and social media platforms
  • Schedule and coordinate meetings between potential clients and senior team members
  • Maintain and update the CRM database with accurate client information
  • Collaborate with marketing and sales teams to align strategies
  • Assist in preparing reports on business development activities and outcomes
  • Participate in team meetings and contribute ideas for business growth

Required Qualifications:

  • Currently pursuing or recently completed a degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Sales, Management, or related field
  • Strong interest in business development, sales, and client relationship management
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Proficiency in MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
  • Basic understanding of LinkedIn, social media platforms, and digital marketing
  • Self-motivated, proactive, and eager to learn
  • Ability to work independently as well as in a team environment
  • Strong organizational and time management skills

Good to Have:

  • Knowledge of GraphQL or Redux/NgRx.
  • Experience with Docker, AWS, or CI/CD pipelines.

Preferred Skills:

  • Prior internship or experience in sales/business development (preferred but not mandatory)
  • Familiarity with CRM tools (e.g., HubSpot, Salesforce, Zoho)
  • Good understanding of B2B sales processes
  • Creative thinking and problem-solving abilities
  • Willingness to take initiative and handle challenges
